US Bank needed to internally market their new Visa credit card. They wanted their sales people to find the marketing training relevant, fun, and to the point. They were not interested in having just another sales presentation.

Sales people were informed and entertained. They left the meeting remembering the important details because of the unique, innovative delivery of the message.

Rave Reviews created a race-themed event using tricycles. Teams wore racing bibs and hats as they played race-themed sports games to earn “big bucks”. After buying trikes, parts and embellishments, teams assembled and decorated their trikes for the big race. Afterwards, and most importantly, the trikes were given to charity.
The evening was a huge success and everyone had a great time. Teams worked closely together and fifteen lucky kids were given new tricycles. Motorola was so pleased they hired us to create another event at the Walt Disney World Speedway.
Jeppesen Aviation hosted an International Customer Meeting in Beaver Creek, CO. The event, which takes place every five years, was to be attended by 350 international customers from thirty countries. Jeppesen Aviation is in the serious business of navigational and flight technology. Their vital messages of safety and innovation had to be presented in a way that would communicate connection to, and understanding of the customers’ needs. They were working under a limited timeframe and asked Rave Reviews to provide the “wow factor” for this important customer interaction.
After meeting with Jeppesen management to listen to their needs and concerns, Rave Reviews created a Total Meeting Design by writing, producing and directing two powerful 45-minute sessions for the opening and closing of their meeting. This multi-media undertaking included video, live performance, PowerPoint, and speakers. In addition, the sessions included a parade of nations, a flag ceremony, audience participation, technical support, costumes, sets, and speaker coaching — all designed and produced by Rave Reviews.
Jeppesen Aviation received enthusiastic accolades from the attendees. The critical messages of safety and innovation were clearly communicated in an energetic and inspiring way. The crucial balance of propriety and engaging delivery was accomplished.

Mama Pascucci’s Ravioli and Tap Dance Lesson® was the answer. This event works well for as few as thirty to as many as needed. US Bank’s sales force donned aprons and chef hats to roll, fill and fork hundreds of ravioli. After their pasta creations were made, they tap danced to That’s Amore and dined on their tasty Italian fare.
All 750 people at each event gladly participated. The groups were reenergized and the event talked about for months to follow. And what a great photo op!
California Federal Bank wanted a fresh approach to a new employee orientation. Instead of classroom training, they wanted the company’s basic, important information infused with an innovative and entertaining video. They hoped to engage the attention of the new hires and help them retain what they’d learned.
Rave Reviews took the company’s eight core values, its medical plan, and other benefits and wrapped them into a series of three clever, lively music videos that were given to employees to watch and enjoy on their own time. A dancing, singing Abe Lincoln, Ben Franklin, and George Washington were just three of the characters that made basic orientation sessions enjoyable for CalFed’s new employees.
CalFed was thrilled with the series. The new employees loved the videos and effectively retained the information delivered in song. CalFed’s goal of simultaneously informing and entertaining was reached.
Dick Tracy Spoof Solves Mystery of How to Keep Things Interesting
At a large sales rally, US Bank wanted to energize, motivate and encourage competition among their sales staff. The event was for 3,000 people at four one-and-a-half day events.
After obtaining a clear understanding of US Bank’s messages and themes, Rave Reviews created a series of live custom theatrical performances to support their goals. The colorful, humorous performances were based on the familiar characters from the Dick Tracy comic strip. The upbeat show, titled, The Mystery of Whowunnit was designed to involve the audience in solving the mystery.
The songs and sketches surrounding the meeting and the speakers sparked healthy competition among the attendees and brought added energy and vitality to the meeting.
Universal Lending is a mortgage loan company that has survived and thrived in spite of the tough blows of the economic recession. Yet, they too are living with the stress incumbent in the numerous and complicated new government rules and regulations. Sensitive to the need to keep morale high, Peter Lansing, President and CEO of Universal Lending Corporation wanted an event that would energize employees, strengthen morale, and be a dynamic kick-off for the approaching all-company meeting.
Rave Reviews created, directed, filmed and produced an all-company music video for ULC. Filming took place onsite in the ULC offices. The final product featured all of the employees dancing, lip-syncing, working, and having a great time together.
The solution brought about positive outcomes: staff morale heightened during the team effort to film the video, and the process was fun and energizing. And when it came time for the all-company meeting everyone was excited to attend in order to see the finished product.
Original Music and Lyrics Speak to Sales Team
US Bank wanted to kick off their San Francisco sales meeting with a bang. They asked for an original song for the opening session and for a closing song that would engage and energize their employees.

A customized parody piece was written for the closing and performed by the US Bank mascots. Rave Reviews produced the songs and then flew to San Francisco to perform them live.

US Bank, always striving to improve their excellent customer service, decided to do a new customer service training for their employees. Rave Reviews was asked to help them motivate their employees to get the most out of the upcoming training experience.
Rave Reviews created customer service rallies that were held in eight cities prior to the training. Overall impact was increased by the use of a clever “Hello, Mr. Customer” routine. These rallies energized their employees, explained the benefits of great customer service, not only to the customer but also to the employees, and motivated the employees to attack the training with great enthusiasm.
This was a customer service training experience that engaged and excited a group of people who may have otherwise thought it was …”just another one of those events.” The creative “Hello Mr. Customer” routine did the trick and stayed in their minds for a very long time.
Jeppesen Aviation asked Rave Reviews to add a dignified WOW factor to the opening of their international customer event. They wanted to make the customers in attendance from thirty different countries feel honored and sincerely welcomed.
Rave Reviews created an opening welcome video and orchestrated a beautiful and moving parade of flags representing each of the countries in attendance.
Guests felt welcomed by this touching, stunning, and positive opening to the conference. The day started off on just the right note.
