Case Study: Motorola
Challenge
Motorola was doing a three-day sales meeting in Orlando, Florida at Disney World. The location was wonderful and Disney offered many excellent venues and created several memorable events for their meeting. But Disney was unable to offer the perfect event for the second night of their conference, so Motorola called Rave Reviews.
Motorola wanted something that would stir up the crowd…something exciting, physical (but not too physically challenging), competitive and memorable.
Rave Reviews presented the Tour de Charity.
We customized color-coded race bibs and cycling caps for each team member. We designed the event to fit in with company meeting themes. We created a race shop filled with tricycle parts, tools and many fabulous art supplies. We brought in a series of challenging games to play in order to win “money” to purchase these supplies. We even added an obstacle course so that they could safely race their decorated trikes to the finish line.
And the grand finale, after parading and presenting their tricycles, Motorola donated them to charity.
The Results
Motorola had an event that was as exciting as the venue they chose for their meeting. The teams were exhausted with fun and competition and the client was thrilled at the results.
